You Want To Store What?

When you get a group of self storage folks together be ready for some weird and funny stories about the self storage business.

Today on the internet they had a story about a guy finding a leg in his bbq smoker that he bought at an auction. Oh wait; it was a self storage auction of a unit that was abandoned. Apparently he got the smoker home and when he lifted the lid he thought there was a piece of driftwood wrapped in paper inside. When he got the wrapping undone he found an amputated leg. Gross!

Ok, so here are my concerns;

Why would you want to store an amputated leg?
Where did the leg come from?
The leg was from the son of the renter who could not pay their bills. He was in a plane crash and lost his leg, but kept it due to religious reasons.

If you knew you were not going to be able to pay your rent on your storage unit, would you mind that your leg was inside?

Someone was able to contact the son and he is going to pick up the leg from the man who bought the smoker. What a happy self storage ending.
