Updating Customer Information

Thanks to modern technology, sales reps with the PhoneSmart Call Center have access to a great deal of information about local storage facilities. We are able to give detailed directions with landmarks to a particular location, like Key West self storage. We can explain the benefits of all of the features and amenities that are available. We know what sized units the facility has available right now, as well as the price and any specials. These are just a few of the things phone reps are able to do to help us build a better rapport with callers and to get new tenants for our clients. We are so well trained and prepared that customers oftentimes think we are actually located at their local store!
After our reps get all of a potential renter’s information we fax and or email it to the local manager. This lets them know what the customer wants, when they will be at the store to finalize paperwork, the price/special offered, etc. Ordinarily the entire process is seamless and works out great for everyone!
But in order for our system to work well the information on our computer screens needs to be accurate. It is extremely important for our PhoneSmart clients to keep us informed and updated of any changes at their location. Even small things that occur can have a huge impact on our representation of their store. Do we have a restaurant as a landmark that has since been torn down? Did you change managers six months ago? Did you have a price increase?
