Temporary Toy Storage

Joel and I are currently driving from St. Louis, Missouri back to Jefferson City, Missouri. I barely had enough room to wiggle the laptop out from under the bags of toys that we crammed into every inch of the van. A peak through the rearview mirror reveals a convex view of the car behind us because of the drum set that is blocking the window. I am already asking myself what I was even thinking buying a 2 year old drums!

Our car has no inch to spare; no, not even for one more dinosaur or truck and definitely no more cookies! Joel strategically used every inch of car storage space so that we could haul back loads of gifts. We have converted our automobile into a temporary toy storage unit.

On top of the sound of panging drums, my quiet little baby boy has discovered his love of screaming somewhere along the hours and hours of driving. Tis the Season, right? It truly was a wonderful Christmas as I watched the excitement and joy on the faces of my little guys opening a mountain of presents. Oh yes, and then the fighting over whose toy is whose.
