PhoneSmart Biographies

Through all of the training that I have done here at the call center in Columbia, Missouri, I have found that it is easy to become personal with those that I train.  In addition to my training I have also grown to know my co-workers that are at the PhoneSmart call center.  Recently Phonesmart published their own catazine for the self storage industry. Inside the catazine there are autobiographies about the Phonesmart family.  These biographies are made up of how we see ourselves, what I have decided to do this month is to write about each employee as I see them.  Many companies often do an employee of the month, even my son’s first-grade classroom has a “star student” of the week that is given recognition for going above or beyond or just merely to show appreciation so that each student will feel special.  I think that this should be done more throughout the self storage industry as well as other companies and organizations; as it is easy to discuss the bad things but hardly the good things are noticed or mentioned so I have decided that I will make all of my co-workers feel special and that their hard work is noticed, appreciated and recognized by a trainer.  Some stipulations will apply, as all blogs will be review by the individual before the blogs are posted.
