Improving Self Service Storage Margins – Part One
-
Declining margins is one of the biggest concerns for the self service storage industry . The storehouses did good business during the 1990s. It was, in fact, a golden era for the warehouses. As the number of warehouses increased exponentially, the competition among them became tough. Some warehouses started feeling the heat of the competition, and their occupancy rates declined. To combat this problem, companies had to re-consider their pricing strategy which had affected their margins. Apart from this, the economic recession is further affecting the revenues and profits of the warehouses.
