If you have decided for furniture storage , it is always advisable to go for a specialized center. There are some storing outlets, which are not so equipped to handle your delicate furniture. All chair and table legs should be wrapped tightly using packing paper and finally bubble wrap. Leave covers of your cushions and put a plastic sheet on them. Be very cautious, while packing the lamps and mirrors. These are easily breakable, so you have to take appropriate care to pack these items. Use individual boxes to pack the lamp shades using sufficient paper padding. In case of mirrors, wrap them with paper pads and bubble wrap. Use a mirror pack to place it and identify with a marker pen, so that everyone takes care of this item while moving.

The storing rooms at the furniture storage center are quite clean, dry and secure. But, take a few precautions to keep your items doubly protected. Place plastic sheets, blankets, towels on the floor. Also, secure the place in between two items by putting these materials. Thus, you can prevent the items from scratches. Keep your mattress on something to allow free air flow. This will avert from building up of moisture. A quick wax coating will give additional protection to your wooden furniture.

If you follow the above suggestions while storing your furniture, they are going to remain intact when you take them off from the store. In the mean time, you are assured to stay free of tension and worries about your furniture.
