Fall Into The Season
-
Fall is definitely in the air here in Central Missouri. The leaves have already started changing and the last couple of weeks it has either been hot and humid or wet, cool and windy. These are very typical patterns of weather for our area, in fact today as the day goes on it is going to get cooler as a cold front moves in from the Northwest.
What does this mean to self storage? Well, on the warmer, sunnier days you can see the neighbors scrambling around outside trying to winterize their homes. If you aren’t familiar with the Midwest, we have hot, hot summers and fairly cold and sometimes snowy winters, beautiful fall and gorgeous spring weather. So, we have lots of lawn furniture, swimming pools, kids toys, 4 wheelers, hunting equipment, bicycles, gardening equipment, craft storage and more. And if you are like most people I know that don’t park in their garage because the car won’t fit, you might need self storage. Even though the spring and summer are the usual busy times for self storage, the fall and winter times hold their own as far as business is concerned. Winter is a great time to store those holiday and Christmas gifts that you don’t want those snoopy people getting into.Written by Natalie Thomas, TQAS executive.
