Miami storage units in sunny Florida are full.  People are always moving to Florida for a host of reasons, and this keeps most of the storage units in this state pretty full.  Miami is especially a destination for many people to come to the beaches and the sunny weather.  People from all over the world come to Miami to live and work and some to get away from their oppressive governments.  Cuba of course comes to mind as a government that is not too kind to its people, if those people do or say anything the government does not like.  Freedom is not easy there, and most people feel poor and not taken care of.  In the past, many people from Cuba would try to make it to the Keys first, than make their way to Miami, to blend in with the rest of the city.  It is easy to do because this city is very large with a very large Cuban population, so mixing in is not as hard as one would think.  This shift of people gives Miami a great Latin, island feel, which most people, who come here, just love it.  We love the reggae music too and all the Latin and island sounds make for a very festive and fun city to go out in and look around.  We also love looking at all the water in this lovely city.  It has bays and oceans and beaches and rivers and pools in large expensive houses and pool cleaners too.  We rented a house once in this State and we had a pool cleaner that came to clean our pool as part of the deal for renting the house.  Not a bad deal hey?

Miami storage units stay full too.  Sunny Florida is a great place to live and work because of all the tax benefits too.  There is no State income tax, so people have a little extra money than other States.  It is a very friendly business state too and the sunny weather makes it desirable for all the sun worshipers out there.  They flock to Florida and comb the beaches just swimming or watching other people.  Florida is a great people-watching place as you see them in every color, every age, and every body size.  We love the beach too, but this man’s body is not as toned as it once was, so our trips to the beach are a little more conservative than some of the bathing suits we see that we will not wear.  We will probably never wear bathing suits like the ones you may see in Miami Beach or South Beach especially.  We are not some of the beautiful people, well maybe on the inside.

Miami storage units are full of bathing suits and surfboards too.  All things beaches are here in storage, including boats and jet skies.  Jet skies are great fun and we have seen a lot of those in storage on our journey through life being part of the storage industry.  Florida was a great place to be in, but all good things must end.  We left Florida and found snow again, all though it can and will snow in Florida once in a blue moon.  It snowed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida once, we were not there though.

Key West storage units hold a lot of interesting things in them.  We used to manage a storage place very near Key West, Florida, and it was a lot fun.  It was the wife and this blogger who did the managing part, as we were a two-man team, or a woman and a man two way team anyway.  Key West is a very cool and unique place in Florida, and maybe the world.  It is a tale of two cities as there are the people who live there, and than there are the tourists.  It is much better to be a person who lives there, because tourists or those who are visiting for a short while will spend a lot more money then others.  You see, in Key West, Florida tourists pay a lot more money then the actual citizens who live there.  How does that happen you may ask, because how could you divide the prices of things or really know who is a tourist and who is not if you run a business.  We were citizens so we received a citizen card with our names on it that we could show anybody on the island and get things ten percent cheaper than a person visiting.  This was very funny to us, but it did come in handy because our favorite places to eat would always give us the ten percent and more.  A lot of places to eat in Key West, Florida would also let your dogs in those same places.  We thought our dog would bark too much so we kept him home instead of letting him go to places to eat or stores.  We did take him to the beaches though, and that was a lot of fun too.

Key West storage units in sunny Florida flood some times too.  It can rain quite a bit in Key West and the people who were storing stuff were rally quite understanding of the water.  They would put all their stuff on pallets as to try to stop the flooding water from hurting or damaging their things they were storing.  There are not a lot of storage places in Key West so people did not fret too much about a little water, or as a matter of fact, a lot of water.  We actually had a lot of wooden pallets on our property to use for the customers.  People would move out and leave the wooden pallets and we would save them in a different storage unit and let other people use them for their storage units.

Key West storage units in sunny Florida are always full.  The storage place that we managed for one summer was always over ninety-five percent full and sometimes we took a waiting list for next up to get a storage unit.  People would store boats and cars and everything in between on their journey through life.  There is a kinship with the people who live in Key West because it takes a little bravery you know to live here.  As a matter of fact, just coming here takes some bravery.  It is a long way from the rest of the country and you do feel a little like you are really far away from everybody.

Bogart storage units in sunny Georgia are doing well these days.  People have always wanted to move to the southern parts of the United States of America.  In the beginning people moved up north for jobs.  Factories were making steel and Mo town was building cars.  All these jobs made a lot of people move to the north to get these jobs and make their families stronger than before.  When the factory jobs dried up and the steel was not flowing anymore, those same people moved back to the south, and back home.  Car companies started moving to the south too as those states became more business friendly with fewer taxes than say Chicago or New York.  Now you add the good weather and lower prices on houses, well, now we have something.  Cities like Houston in Texas and Atlanta in Georgia started booming.  Thousands of people a day were moving to these cities from the north, because now the jobs have shifted from the north to the south.  These cities had a hard time keeping up though at first with all the new people coming in.  Homes had to be built and record setting numbers to keep up with all the new people moving to these cities.  Houston, Texas had rows and rows of apartment building on their streets, and they were something to see. Atlanta became a hot bed for people moving and we are sure they had a building boom like Houston Texas had.  Homes were cheaper too compared to Chicago and New York.  The same house could be hundreds of thousands of dollars cheaper down south compared to up north.  This was also enticing too.

Bogart storage units in sunny Georgia were filled up during this boom time for the south.  Another reason business liked moving to the south so much too was sick days.  Yes, sick days.  It seemed that people took off from work for sick days in the cold climates of the north in the United States of America compared to the southern half.  Snow days too were a problem, as workers could not get to work when the temperature and snow of many inches hit the cities every winter.  There were more expenses too with snow like snow removal and people slipping on ice and getting hurt.  This all brought up costs and lowered profits.  States would also tax these companies more than let us say Texas, so why stay with all that hassle and hard ship.  Might as well pack up and leave Chicago.

Bogart storage units benefited from all of these reasons to move down to sunny Georgia, and a lot of people did.  Atlanta is often called the new south, modern and exciting.  It is a city where young people flock to for the nightlife and all the wonderful things there are to do.  We think the south will keep on growing unless the north gets it together and makes it better for business to come.  As a matter of fact, the entire country of the United States of America could benefit from a lower tax rate on business and the private sector too like people like us.  We all need a little tax break to go with our corn flakes in the morning.  How about no food taxes at all?  Would not that be nice?

Aurora storage units are located in Illinois.  Aurora is a suburb of Chicago and is a big part of the city itself.  Here in this town is a place to eat that is homage to a great football player who played with the Chicago bears his whole career.  His name is Walter Payton and he is considered to be one of the greatest football players of all time.  Some call him the best of all time because he can do so many things well.  First, he was a great running back who once was the all time leading rusher in the history of the game.  He is second now to a Dallas Cowboy named Emmett Smith.  Smith if you remember won the dancing contest on that show where famous people dance to win something.  Anyway, Walter was also one of the best blockers in football.  This is very important to a football team because a running back must be able to pick up a blitzing linebacker so the quarterback will not be killed.  The quarterback needs a few seconds to throw the ball, like four seconds is a good number to find an open receiver.  If a thrower only has let us say two seconds to throw the ball because a running back missed a block, well that team will usually loose the game.  A quarterback needs time to throw the ball.  Walter could also run out of the backfield and catch the ball.  He had great hands and hardly ever dropped a pass from a thrower.  The final thing that Walter was good at was returning kicks and punts.  Yes, Walter could do it all on a football field.  He could kick a football too and believe it or not, he also threw a few touchdown passes in his life too, many as a professional football player.

Athens storage units in sunny Georgia have a lot of guitars in their place.  We can safely say this because this lovely town in the Peach state has a great live music scene second only to Austin, Texas, which is known as the live music capital of the world.  It is also the capital of Texas.  No, it is not Dallas or Houston, but Austin.  We will talk about Texas in another blog about self storage places at another time and place.  Well, maybe not another place, because yours truly spends most of the time we have blogging on a computer near the TV so we may still watch our favorite shows.  We also have a few guitars in our basement and try to play them every once in a while.  Pawnshops also have a lot of guitars and we bet this city has a lot of pawn shops with a lot of guitars in them.  We bought some guitars before from a pawnshop near our house.  We also live in a collage town, so the pawnshops in a collage town are always full of interesting items to shop around for.  We also bought a bass guitar once in a pawnshop many moons ago when this person was a younger man than he is now.  Oh, well, we get old and stop playing guitar and off it goes into a storage space, where it is sad because no one is playing that guitar anymore.  Do not put your guitars in a storage place to rot and go away.  A guitar can play and sound better and better if you play it often enough.  This is true; we do not know all the reasons why, but the human soul that goes into playing the guitar changes the guitar too.  The action on the neck gets better as the strings sound better too.

Athens storage units in sunny Georgia have seen their share of lonely guitars.  There have been a lot of great guitar players who have come through this town and Mike Buck is surly one of those.  He plays with the most famous band from Athens, Georgia, REM.  REM has had many hits on the radio as they are loved by many fans.  Boys and girls alike like them as well as older people like me.  Their songs sound like no one else so you really know right away it is an REM song you are hearing.  We have their greatest hits or some of their favorite songs all on one CD at our house.  We listen to it quite often, as the songs are all good to listen to from the record.  REM has a lot of fans, millions everywhere around the world.  They also gave a lot of money to Athens, their hometown, to use to fix their downtown area.

Chicago Loop self storage areas are very much needed in Chicago, Illinois.  The Loop is a very specific area in Chicago, but the entire Chicago downtown area is just around the corner.  We have been in some very interesting self storage buildings in Chicago.  Our company bought one very close to Chinatown and it was a great big building to behold.  It was all gutted out when we went in for the first time to help clean it out.  The elevators were scary with the old time ropes you pull up and down to open and close the large metal door.  We always were hoping every time we got into it, it would go to the floor we wanted it to go to, and not break down on us.  We would have to climb out of them and climb up or down brick walls to escape.  The building had nine floors and a very interesting roof.  On top of the roof was great views of Chicago, and the managers told us they watched the fireworks show from Navy Pier.  The floors were huge and this could end up being a very big self storage place.  We think it used to be some kind of hospital or school for doctors or nurses.  We found gurneys and needles and syringes all over on one of the floors.  If we watched more horror movies, we might think it was some kind of horrible place they did experiments to people and tortured them.  The floors were dirty and dusty and other medical equipment was found too.

Chicago Loop self storage areas like this one existed too.  There are many old and big and left to decay building on this side of town and a few became self storage areas.  It took some politics to get through, as all business in Chicago does.  This type of politics turn a lot of people off, but we believe people who live here; see logic in it and it is the way it has always been done.  Politics and big cities and business are a way of life for some.  New York does it too.  Small towns can be a pain too, with what we like to call the good old boy network.  It is funny how many loops one must jump through to get anything done sometimes.  We are a funny bunch, us human beings.

Chicago Loop self storages are a good group though, after all the politics is gone for a while.  It always takes good customer service to get a business rolling; the politics is the easy part.  Selling a product is not easy.  Go try it some time.  Knock on doors or email people.  Most will say no to anything you are selling.  Marketing teaches us that for every thousand letters you send out, maybe three or four will but your product. The product you are hawking makes it tough to sell it.  It is always about marketing, reaching a customer, than reaching more.  This is the free enterprise system and it keeps us free.  Self storage business is like any other business trying to survive first, than make a profit second.  This is the way of the free enterprise system.  What people do not realize is that the system is still very young in age.  We are still tweaking the system.

Most parents will do anything for their children to a point. They want to be sure that their family is provided for and that they have all they need. It is quite easy sometimes to find out what kids want, most kids simply tell their parents. The hard thing for most parents is to distinguish the difference between what their kids want and what they need. Often parents will get many things for their kids that they want instead of getting the things that they really need. In some rare cases because the parents got their kids what they wanted instead of what they needed, they do not have enough money to get the things they actually need for their child. Parents are put in very hard positions.

Whenever Cindy and her family go to their thrifty fast food restaurant with a place for kids to play, the kids ask for a toy to play with. They have toys that go along with the meal that her kids always seem to remember is there.  When Cindy tries to get something more economical for her family she is combated by her kids and there is an instant argument. Cindy finds it every difficult to tell her kids no especially when she wants to give it to them. The problem now was that if Cindy kept this pace up she could fill up small Villa Park storage units.

When Cindy goes to the local store, the store does such a great job putting the toys in a great place so the kid sees it all the time. The kids beg and plead to their mom so they can play with the toys soon. Cindy knew at that point she had to tell her kids no because she had to get the things that were on her grocery list. Naturally she was not made out of money and had to choose toys or getting food for her family. She had to decide what was more important for them at this time. She also realized that her boys had too many toys in their room. There were many toys that they haven’t played with in years. Maybe if they did not have so many toys in their room she might consider getting the boys some more toys. Chicago is by no means a small city. Many people call this city home and a handful of people who are in need of University of Chicago storage units. The only problem that Joel did not foresee is that with all these new recruits they brought a lot of their things from home with them. Joel did not anticipate that everyone wanted to bring their own furniture and things instead of using the supplied furniture at the house. Usually Joel would tell the newbie that they have to use what was supplied and that the other students would have to find some University of Chicago storage units for everything else t hey would need. With Joel letting the pledges keep their own items it made the adjustment process tolerable for the pledges and made them feel as if they were making the right decision for their life.

While traveling around the O’Hare Airport area, you could not miss this massive airport. You could miss other things in the area if you blinked while riding down the highway. This area is home to other things than just the airport.  This area is no stranger to people coming in an out of the city in order to find somewhere larger to live or give someone more options in order to find employment.  The true and loyal residents will stay in the O’Hare International Airport area because it is their home and will be their home until they get tired of the all the noise.

This are has been called O’Hare International Airport area for quite a while. Many people have come to this area in order to travel in state or internationally. There is no doubt that the older residents love the fact that they have grown old with the area, and have seen many people come and go.
